Each line of embroidery is $7.50 per line up to
26 characters including punctuation and spacing. Special characters, left
and right bracket cannot be used.
Embroidery for throws not currently set up on the
product page may be entered into the comment box on the second page of the order
form in the checkout cart. The embroidery fee will be added to your order, or
you may place your order by phone. For special requests please call

Route 66, the well-known road also known as “The Mother Road” and “The Main Street of America” was officially opened on November 11, 1926. Throughout the 1930s, Route 66 was the major path for people moving west. The original starting point of Route 66 was at Buckingham Fountain in Chicago, Illinois and Route 66 traveled through parts of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and then ending in Las Angeles, California. In 1936 the end of Route 66 was changed to Santa Monica California. In 1985, it was decided that Route 66 was to be replace by the Interstate Highway System since the route was no longer pertinent. Although Route 66 no longer exists, there are signs posted throughout parts of what was originally Route 66 and the signs read, “Historic Route 66”. Route 66 was made popular in many ways through television shows, in movies, songs, and in the Pulitzer Prize winning book, The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
