The Kansas State University began as a land grant institution on February 16, 1863.  The University is located in Manhattan, Kansas, which is situated west of Kansas City in the rolling Flint Hill of northeastern Kansas.  K-State has won numerous awards for their achievements in academics, specifically in Environmental Systems Research and the honor of receiving the Medal of Excellence.  Kansas State is a member of the Big 12 Conference and the school mascot is known as Willie the Wildcat.  We offer a Kansas State University fleece throw as a perfect college graduation gift or for a unique college gift, which embodies the pride, history and spirit of K-State.
