The Siberian Husky is an unbelievably strong, working dog. Huskies are native to Siberia where the Chukchi people in Siberia used them for sled pulling, reindeer herding and watch dogging. Fur traders brought huskies to Alaska in 1909. Today Huskies continue to be pack animals, popular companion dogs and sledding, racing and carting dogs.
